In this podcast interview, Shaun Weston talks to David about how the spark of interest in the granola market lay dormant for some 20 years; how he and his wife made their own granola recipe for their hotel guests for three years.
Outsourcing the manufacture of the granola has made the initial journey of getting the brand going quite smooth, or as David puts it, “Lucky”.
“The company we use in Dorset; when I go there, even though it’s their factory, it feels partly ours,” he says. “So, the manufacture would have been the biggest challenge, but so far we haven’t hit any major obstacles.”
