At the fiery street food festival ‘Chilli Chilli Bang Bang’, the Jose Cuervo Lucha Libre Bar challenged the hottest bartenders from around the UK to create the most inventive chilli tequila cocktail using smooth and spicy Cuervo Tradicional Reposado.
Lee Hyde’s Day Of The Dead concoction contained fresh lime juice, Aperol, Crème de Cacao blanc, chopped red chilli and egg white, while Michael Kyprianou’s Sweet & Spice comprised chilli syrup, mango syrup, cranberry juice and chilli.
Sushant Mane created his Chica Brava cocktail, a mix of Jose Cuervo, tomato juice, fresh lemon juice and spice mix, garnished with celery.
In the final round, Lee Hyde presented his Chilli Chiller cocktail, a combination of Jose Cuervo Tradicional Reposado, Siora strawberry, passion fruit, St Mungo Lager, lime juice, spicy mango syrup, Tabasco, salt, pepper, chilli flakes and cinnamon.
Sushant Mane was named victorious after much deliberation and was awarded a year’s supply of Jose Cuervo Tradicional.
