Protein breakfast brand Fuel10K has unveiled three product launches which hit UK shelves in February: Mini Yogs yogurt drinks, three peanut butters, and an expansion of its porridge range.
Made with 100% natural fruit and milk, Mini Yogs are targeted at a younger audience and will be available in packs of 200ml cartons in either strawberry or peach flavours, retailing at £2.69.
Fuel10K said the yogurt drinks are for health-conscious consumers “who want less sugar and more protein but don’t want to compromise on taste”.
Meanwhile, the peanut butters are sold in squeezy, resealable pouches, available in three variants: a smooth version made with 99.5% roasted peanuts, a crunchy super seed option with sunflower and chia seeds, and a chocolate flavour made with cocoa powder and coconut sugar. Each pouch retails for £2.39.
Fuel10K founder Barney Mauleverer said: “We want to give peanut butter lovers a new, more convenient way to consume their favourite morning spread. Usage of nut butters are evolving and are now used in smoothies, on porridge, with fruit, on pancakes as well as on good old toast.
“Fuel10K peanut butters deliver clean morning energy that is convenient when eaten at home or on the go and we believe we have a clear role to play for the health-conscious gen X and millennials.”
Finally, the brand has expanded its protein porridge line with the launch of a low sugar and dairy free variant.
The 60g porridge pots are made with rolled oats, plant proteins and natural sweeteners, with either golden syrup flavour notes or crunchy peanut pieces. They retail at £1.
Added Mauleverer: “Our own research found that 68% of consumers are concerned about sugar levels and a further 58% are looking for more protein in their diet. We’re targeting those whose needs are not being met by traditional cereal providers, focusing on their dietary needs by cutting the sugar and adding a diary free option.”
