Headlining the event is Rexam, a leading global beverage can maker, which renewed its sponsorship of the awards earlier this year.
Also returning as Associate Sponsors are Owens-Illinois (O-I) and SmartSeal.
O-I is the largest manufacturer of glass containers in North America, South America, Asia-Pacific and Europe, and alongside its Associate Sponsorship, is demonstrating its ongoing belief in glass through sponsoring the ‘Best bottle in glass’ category.
Innovative no-spill closure maker SmartSeal is supporting its Associate Sponsorship with the sponsorship of two categories: ‘Best closure’ and ‘Best technology innovation’.
New to the World Beverage Innovation Awards are two category sponsors. Austria Juice is sponsoring the ‘Best juice or juice drink’ category, while Hanovia is sponsoring the ‘Best packaged water’ category.

Now in its 10th year, the World Beverage Innovation Awards@BrauBeviale, is in association with Unesda, the Union of European Beverages Associations, Wafg, the German non-alcoholic drinks trade association, and BrauBeviale, the world’s largest beverage industry trade event.

FoodBev Media has signed a three-year agreement with Nuremberg Messe to stage the presentation of finalists and winners at a special event during the world’s largest beverage industry trade event, BrauBeviale 2014, in Nuremberg, Germany.
Entries to this year’s competition are open now and will close on 19 September 2014. The awards ceremony will take place at BrauBeviale on 12 November 2014.
