Anuga 2017 highlighted the latest in the way of final products with an array of halls featuring the latest innovations in exotic drinks, meat products, frozen chilled and fresh food.
Dairy innovation
Anuga saw a variety of innovative dairy products launched at the show with high protein platforms particularly in the spotlight with Bauer showcasing its 23g of protein drink while Koukakis presented a range of Greek kefir drinks with strawberries, sour cherries and raspberries.
Vegetarian products
A huge trend at this year’s event was vegetable-based products with Vepura launching a range of vegetarian indian snacks including cocktail samosas, dosa balls, onion pakora and veggie nuggets. Meanwhile, Veggie focaccia’s showcased a flatbread made with carrot and Champ burger presented its range of vegetable burgers made with over 75% white mushrooms.
