The Nutraformulate Conference & Exhibition celebrates ‘ingredients for healthy living’ under the banner ‘Science you can trust’.
The Biotechnology and Biological Sciences Research Council sponsored the event this year, showcasing research from the Diet and Health Research Industry Club (DRINC) including n-3 PUFA and vascular health, flavonoids and heart health, vitamin D and supplementation and food structure and digestion. The conference addressed topics from health claims regulation to market trends, ingredient co-branding and the functional foods market.
Alongside the exhibition there was a Food for Thought Conference and techFocus presentations. New for 2015 was series of presentations entitled Formulating Functional Foods, Formulation for Food, Pharmaceuticals and Chemistry and workshop and troundtable discussions.
