General Mills has collaborated with Mondelēz to produce Sour Patch Kids-flavoured yogurt tubes as an addition to General Mills-owned Yoplait’s Go-Gurt range.
Go-Gurt Sour Patch Kids yogurts replicate the flavours of the conventional candy, with both blue raspberry and redberry flavours included in the range.
The yoghurts will be packaged in 56g grab-and-go tubes, and will be sold in 16 and 8-packs which contain both flavours.
Each tube contains 50 calories per serving, and the low-fat yogurts are made without high-fructose corn syrup.
Tsubasa Tanaka, business unit director, yogurt at General Mills said: “As a brand, we are always looking for new ways to create more fun for families.
“With this collaboration, we’re bringing together two beloved brands known for their ability to instigate fun – Go-Gurt and Sour Patch Kids – to create an incredible snack experience.”
Wesley Saraceni, senior brand manager, Candy, Mondelēz added: “The Sour Patch Kids brand is always looking for new opportunities to expand our brand presence across categories.
“We’re very excited to collaborate with Go-Gurt, and bring together two iconic, well-loved brands.”
The range will be introduced nationwide in the US in January.
