Scotch whisky firm Gordon & MacPhail has secured a multi-year US distribution deal with Chopin Imports as it targets growth in the country.
Chopin Imports, the exclusive marketing company for the Chopin Vodka brand, will manage Gordon & MacPhail’s line of whiskies in the US, including its Discovery, Connoisseurs Choice, Distillery Labels and special releases from its Private Collections and Generations series.
As part of the deal, Chopin Imports will also distribute Gordon & MacPhail’s Dunkeld Atholl Brose liqueur and a range of its Benromach whiskies in the US.
Chopin Imports said it will be responsible for distributing more than 100 “unique and exquisite spirit offerings”, ranging in age from ten years to over 70 years.

“It only makes sense for us to work with a company that builds and understands the luxury spirit category in the US. I am confident that our unique spirits collection coupled with the expertise of Chopin Imports will bring great success in the US market.”
Chopin Imports COO Chuck Kane added: “The Urquhart family has entrusted Chopin with not just representing a great line-up of products but also with representing four generations of their family history. Moreover, Chopin has a great opportunity to build the Benromach brand across the United States.”
Earlier this month, Benromach launched a limited-edition Scotch malt whisky matured for 40 years in a single refill sherry hogshead cask.
