H2O Direct has been presented with the European Drinking Water Cooler Association (EDWCA) award for best innovation, just days after speaking exclusively with FoodBev about its newly launched i-Dscale service filter system.
At Avex 2015 in Manchester, H2O Direct’s Jim Redford spoke to Bill Bruce about i-Dscale, and the role that new filtration media for water plays in making good coffee. Jim explained that the company’s focus was to keep all the calcium and minerals inside the water, and help to bring the taste of the coffee out of the beans.
The i-Dscale service system was introduced to save time while efficiently servicing water coolers and liquid vending machines, and also helps the company to achieve its prime objective of saving time and money while providing the quality that its customers have come to expect.
The East Sussex-based company has now won the best innovation EDWCA award for best innovation – voted for by vending industry professionals and their customers – which was presented as part of the Vendies awards in Manchester. It joins the accolades for best components company, best marketing campaign and best innovation that H2O Direct were awarded in the same ceremony last year. H2O Direct’s sister company, Divine Water, was also given the award for water distributor of the year at this year’s Vendies.
H2O Direct has already expressed “a huge thank you” to those involved in making the award possible.
