Heineken has chosen GetSwift as its exclusive logistics supplier for direct-to-home beer deliveries in the Mexican market.
The agreement will see GetSwift handle Heineken deliveries from around 12,000 stores in Mexico, building upon recently signed distribution agreements between the two companies in Egypt, Malaysia and the Philippines.
GetSwift’s platform provides navigation tools for drivers who deliver beer by motorcycle, and also provides information that allows dispatchers to predict when new orders can be picked up from warehouses.
According to Heineken, this information has helped Heineken boost delivery volume and speed in the Philippines, and Heineken expects this can be achieved in the Mexican market.
Raul Obed Rosas Zuñiga, UX head of Heineken México said: “GetSwift has demonstrated itself to be an excellent partner to Heineken around the globe.
“In Mexico, we are leveraging all of its capabilities to enable our stores to grow their delivery business.”
