Chickpea snack brand Hippeas has introduced a salt and vinegar vibes flavour as it targets continued growth in the UK.
Branded as a lighter alternative to crisps, the new variant joins the other four flavours in the range: cheese and love, in herbs we trust, far out fajita, and sweet and smokin’.
Hippeas said the latest launch has already secured supermarket support with listings confirmed in Asda, Ocado, Waitrose and Planet Organic.
Craig Hughes, managing director of Hippeas UK and Europe, said: “We believe the launch of salt and vinegar vibes will help us continue our rapid growth in the UK and are thrilled to have secured some strong listings already for this new flavour, a Hippeas spin on a classic.”
The new launch follows a recent packaging refresh designed to give the products more shelf standout. The brand, which has experienced steady growth since it came to the UK market in 2016, also announced investment from Leonardo DiCaprio in May of this year.
Hippeas organic chickpea puff salt and vinegar vibes are new available with a recommended retail price of £0.99 for 22g and £1.99 for a 78g sharing bag.
