Ice cream and sorbet brand Yee Kwan has secured a listing for its range of Asian-inspired flavours with Hong Kong airline Cathay Pacific.
The flag carrier will serve eight of Yee Kwan’s exotic ice cream and sorbet varieties in business and first class lounges at London’s Heathrow airport. It has opted for the black sesame seed; toasted coconut; matcha green tea; lychee; mango and passionfruit ripple; and Madagascan vanilla varieties of ice cream, plus Yee Kwan’s alphonso mango, and pink guava and passionfruit sorbets.
The listing follows founder Yee Kwan’s appearance on British investment programme Dragon’s Den, where she received £50,000 in investment from Deborah Meaden.
Yee Kwan said: “We have had an extremely exciting few months since Dragon’s Den aired, and with Deborah’s help and guidance we are exploring new channels to distribute our ice creams and sorbets. We are delighted that Cathay Pacific’s business and first class passengers will have the opportunity to sample some of the exciting flavours associated with their destinations.”
