Italian coffee brand Illy aims to tap into the growing popularity of cold brew with new coffee steeping pack for hotels, restaurants and cafes.
Using only single origin Arabica beans from Brazil, the new Illy cold brew packs contain 175 grams of coffee, ground measured for cold brew preparation.
Each filter bag comes in a vacuum-sealed pack to maintain freshness. Average anticipated yield per pack is 2.2 litres of cold-brewed coffee.
President of Illy Caffè North America Barry Sheldon said: “Our new cold brew steeping pack creates an easier and more practical method of brewing that provides both operational and cost efficiencies for our hospitality partners.
“This offering provides our customers with a wider range of high-quality, on premise consumption opportunities to drive revenue.”
Family-owned Illy employs around 1,260 people worldwide and last year posted revenues of €460 million.
