Infra Foodbrands CEO Frank Sander said: “We already have a strong position in the tropical fruit drink segment and a solid base to expand in the juice and drinks market. We market Maaza in 42 countries and we are confident that this acquisition will strengthen our position and will open new doors.”
Infra Foodbrands acquired these brands from soft drink and juice manufacturer and distributor Sunnyland Distribution SA.
Sunnyland CEO Mr Bayat said: “We want to concentrate on our core business: the production and distribution of beverages. Sales and marketing of the two brands will no longer be a part of that. We are glad that we have sold the brands to Infra Foodbrands, a committed and proven brand builder.”
