Innocent Drinks has launched a new fruit juice diluted with water and coconut water, which it claims is 30% lower in sugar than its standard variants.
New Innocent Light & Juicy is available in orange and clementine, pineapple and lime, and peach and raspberry flavours and will help to quench consumers’ thirst for alternatives to water during the summer months, the company said. It will launch the range in recyclable 900ml carafes with a recommended retail price of £2.39 this month.
Free from concentrates and artificial sweeteners, Innocent has said that the new line is “the perfect option for consumers in need of a little light refreshment that tastes good and does them good too”.
Innocent UK and Ireland managing director Nick Canney said: “We have been busy at Fruit Towers proudly blending a superior tasting thirst quencher that we believe will also benefit the chilled fruit juice category. We’re really proud that we’ve made a range that tastes naturally light and deliciously juicy without having to use any artificial sweeteners or concentrates and we’re really excited to be able to launch the range this summer.”
