The judging panel for this year’s International Beverage Awards, to be held at Drink JAPAN in Tokyo in June, has been announced.
They include the publisher of Japan’s leading beverage trade magazine, a branding and design expert, and some of the most widely respected authorities on the Japanese beverage industry. You can read more about the judges below.
The International Beverage Awards will be presented as part of a special ceremony during the trade show Drink JAPAN in Tokyo on 27 June. Entries can be from any country – not just Japan – but benefit specifically from brand exposure in front of an audience at one of Asia’s most important beverage industry events.
All judges will be basing their scores against the 200-word description that entrants upload alongside their supporting images and documentation. This is to ensure that all judging is fair and that all judging is based on exactly what the entrant has supplied. 35% of all entries are shortlisted as finalists, and a winner is awarded in each category.
Entries will be assessed on the strength of their business concept, their potential impact on the industry, and to what extent they meet consumer need.
