ADM Wild vice president of marketing and product management EMEAI Jochen Heininger talked with Bryony Andrews about the company’s range of ingredients – with a particular focus on catering to flexitarian and plant-based diets, low and no sugar composition, and demands for clean label.
Speed is a key concern for manufacturers when formulating products around fast-developing trends like these. “For us its important to start at the end of the value chain,” Jochen said, “to have an eye on the consumer’s needs, and translate this to our R&D and to come up with the latest concepts very quickly. Speed to market is very important, lifecycles of products are getting shorter.”
