At Gulfood 2015, held in Dubai’s World Trade Centre from 8-12 February, Bill Bruce interviewed Lemonaid Beverages founder Paul Bethke about his start-up company from Hamburg, Germany, which supports initiatives that try and improve the lives of people in disadvantaged global economies.
Mr Bethke informed FoodBev Media that his brand produced two products, Lemonaid and ChariTea, both of which include organically grown ingredients from smallholder cooperatives from all around the world. Available in a variety of flavours, such as Blood Orange, Passion Fruit, Ginger & Honey and Orange & Lemon, money from the sale of each fairtrade beverage goes towards the brand’s non-profit organisation – Lemonaid & ChariTea e.V. (L&C).
Recorded, produced and hosted by: Bill Bruce and Darren Wood
