At the IFE exhibitor open day, Alvin McQueen from UK-based Michael’s Caribbean Store House talked to Bill Bruce about vegan food, food combining and the upcoming launch of vegan escovitch fish.
Michael’s Caribbean Store House began in the family kitchen. A committed vegan and seeing a lack of tasty Caribbean food products in the market, Michael started experimenting for the family’s consumption. A wide range of European, Caribbean, Eastern, vegetarian or vegan meals are now available to buy direct from the company’s website, with retail sales following soon. The company also offers a catering service.
