Natural Choice has showcased its latest point-of-use water cooler which allows its customers to reduce their environmental footprint through lower plastic bottle use.
The new ION water cooler – which dispenses cold, ambient, sparkling and hot water – features a touch screen which can be personalised and shows how many plastic bottles of water have been saved since the machine’s installation.
Rogier Van Der Maat, Natural Choice European sales manager, told Jules Scully at Venditalia 2018 how the machine can help reduce the reliance on plastic bottles.
“The main feature is that it is very environmentally friendly,” he said. “You don’t need to carry these big water bottles any more, you just connect this machine in the office and people can enjoy healthy and high-quality drinking water.
“It’s kind of silly if you think that billions of litres of water is transported in the world on a daily basis in small plastic bottles or big bottles, while our drinking tap water is just as healthy. We should definitely go back to drinking more and more tap water instead of buying these plastic bottles.”
The new cooler is the third in the ION line and Natural Choice said that it now has around “70,000 machines out in the field”.
