Compact, powerful and made entirely from stainless steel, BluSoda is the smallest cooler in Blupura’s range and the company says that it’s ‘ideal for your home or office, with professional performance and great design’.
Supplying chilled, fresh, still and sparkling water, and with an option for room-temperature water, BluSoda features ‘dry cooling’ technology and stainless steel push buttons.
FoodBev Media talks to Debora Screpanti about the new product.
In Blupura, we consider ‘time to market’ and flexibility the two fundamental aspects of the business. After the request of a customer or the recognition of a market need, our R&D department reacts really quickly. We can have prototypes ready in two or three months, and in another couple of months we can begin production.
With BluSoda, we now introduce ‘dry cooling’, a cooling technology based on stainless steel coils (where water flows) and copper coils (with refrigerant gases) closed in an aluminium block. This allows us to reduce dimensions and to be able to propose a smaller cooler. Until now, Blupura has specialised in hospitality coolers where high performance is needed. To be able to supply high quantities of cold water, it’s mandatory to use ice bank cooling technology, where water and refrigerant coils are immersed in a bath of ice. This system requires more space. Dry cooling is a great solution for the cooling performance needed in homes or offices, and that’s why we’ve been able to launch our smallest cooler, BluSoda.

Absolutely, yes! Our distributors can enlarge their range of products, offering their customers water coolers with several designs and different cooling technologies to satisfy almost all needs, from a Blupura outdoor fountain in a park or square to the BluSoda for residential use.
