Made from 100% organic steel cut oats, then served with real fruit and brown sugar crumble, Jamba’s slow-cooked oatmeal offers a nutritious and wholesome start to the day.
The launch of the new menu item was highlighted by serving it to non-profit communities in New York, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Seattle, Denver and Salt Lake City. The company also drew attention with its ‘knitfitti’ installation at the Time Warner Center in New York.
According to Jamba Juice, ‘knitfitti’ is a fun and civic-minded take on graffiti and a growing underground movement in which guerilla artists hit public property with handmade knitwear rather than markers and spray paint.
Jamba’s new oatmeal will also debut at the Sundance Film Festival, where it will greet visiting celebrities and athletes at Oakley’s Sundance house in Park City, Utah.
James D White, newly appointed CEO at Jamba Juice, commented on the new launch: “There is a clear hunger for this type of wholesome, slow-cooked food as demonstrated by the demand we’ve seen in Chicago, and today’s launch adds a strong, new dimension to our overall business.”
Taking a full 40 minutes to prepare, but available to customers immediately, Jamba’s oatmeal comes with a choice of three fruit toppings: blueberry blackberry, apple cinnamon or fresh bananas.
