An Austrian juice brand has opted to use the new 38mm two-start plastic closure from manufacturer Bericap across its portfolio of products.
Featuring an inner boreseal and outer sealing lip, Bericap’s new DoubleSeal optimises the tightness of sealing for aseptically filled products. “The slit tamper-evident band ensures the integrity of the product and breaks conveniently on first opening,” German firm Bericap said. It also claimed that the one-piece closure “suits all common sterilisation methods and fits onto the standard two-start PET [polyethylene terephthalate] neck used in the market”.
Based 20 miles southeast of Linz, drinks brand Jucyou has now opted to use the closures. The manufacturer, which produces 250,000 products every month, has a range of juice and smoothie products include G’spritzt juice-water.
Jucyou is just the latest producer to opt for one of the company’s plastic closures, Bericap highlighted: “Recognising the trends in the market, Bericap has a varied range of closures available for aseptic application suitable for all known sterilisation methods and fitting 33mm to 38mm neck sizes.
“Bericap’s closures for aseptic fillings are used in many countries and offer a distinctive combination of strong, reliable sealing and protection of the integrity of the filled products.”
