Kellogg’s has boosted its snacking offer in the US with three new product lines: Cheez-It Snap’d, Pringles Wavy and Rice Krispies Treats Snap Crackle Poppers.
Cheez-It Snap’d is a thin and crispy snack made with real cheese and available in four flavours: double cheese, cheddar sour cream and onion, white cheddar and bacon, and jalapeño jack.
A new twist on the Pringles Original crisp, Pringles Wavy has a thick wavy texture “to deliver a bold crunch and big flavour in every bite”, Kellogg’s said. Variants include: fire roasted jalapeño, classic salted, sweet and tangy BBQ, and applewood smoked cheddar.
Finally, Rice Krispies Treats Snap Crackle Poppers are chewy, bite-sized Rice Krispies Treats coated in a smooth topping. Flavours include: chocolatey, vanilla crème, and cookies ‘n’ crème.
Yuvraj Arora, senior vice president of marketing for the Kellogg’s US snacks division, said: “Snacking culture continues to evolve and is an industry ripe with innovation and momentum.
“We’re committed to meeting hungry consumers’ demands and delivering new experiences with our snacks. Each of these snacks are munchable, flavourful, shareable, and perfect for everything from family game night to a relaxing evening of streaming your favourite TV show.”
The new products will be available in the US as of January 2019.
