Kellogg’s has created a collectable ‘Gold Edition’ box for its corn flakes range, which celebrates Team USA snowboarder Chloe Kim’s gold medal at the 2018 PyeongChang Winter Olympics.
Gold Edition boxed are available for a limited time through Kellogg’s Family Rewards website, and members can only order one box each while supplies last.
The design features Kim displaying her gold medal in front of a backdrop which features the stars from the US flag, while the design also incorporates other gold elements.
The boxes have been created as part of Kellogg’s sponsorship of the US Olympic and Paralympic teams, and the company has previously created designs featuring US Olympic hopefuls Nathan Chen, Kelly Clark, and Meghan Duggan.
Sam Minardi, director of brand marketing at the Kellogg Company said: “We’re so excited to welcome Chloe to the Team Kellogg’s family and honour her with one of our favourite Gamestime traditions.
“Chloe’s drive through her Olympic journey to a Gold Medal finish has been inspiring to watch, and we couldn’t think of a better way to celebrate her victory.”
Kim added: “Winning a Gold Medal is a dream come true and commemorating it with a Gold Medal Edition Corn Flakes box makes it even more special. This is all so exciting!”
