Kind to roll out dark chocolate orange almond bar

Kind has announced the launch of its first UK exclusive snack bar flavour: dark chocolate orange almond.

Drizzled in dark chocolate with a hint of zesty orange peel, Kind has positioned the new bar as a healthier alternative to one of the nation’s favourite flavour combinations.

The new bar follows the launch of apple almond spice, which marked the brand’s first limited-edition seasonal variant in the UK.

Like the rest of Kind’s range, the new bar is gluten-free, high in fibre and made using whole and natural ingredients.

John McManus, Kind UK marketing director, said: “Dark chocolate orange almond is such an exciting product for us. Not only is it the first time we’ve ever launched a bar exclusively for the UK market, but we know ‘chocolate orange’ is one of the nations most loved combinations.

“By putting a healthy spin on this flavour favourite we’re confident we’ve created a bar that can satisfy those sweet cravings, in a healthy and minimally processed format. We can’t wait to hear what our customers think.”

The new dark chocolate orange almond bar will launch into Waitrose stores nationwide from 22nd February and Sainsburys on 27th February for an RRP of £1.50. A further roll out is planned for March into stores such as Tesco, Boots and WHSmith.
