London gin brand The King of Soho has revealed the new bottle designs for its premium dry gin product.
The new glass bottles feature a mysterious figure dressed in a velvet suit and top hat, with imagery that The King of Soho says represents both current and previous London life. According to the company, his velvet suit reflects the “hedonistic fashion of the area”, the fox’s tail recalls Soho’s history as a royal hunting ground, and the open book and trumpet represent its longstanding association with music and culture.
Howard Raymond, co-founder of The King of Soho, said: “The beautiful design of the bottle embodies Soho. It’s a place that has always remained true to the generations who shaped it; a place where anything goes.”
The King of Soho dry gin is available in 20cl and 70cl size formats, retailing for £11.95 and £34.95 respectively. Distilled in London using traditional methods, it combines citrusy grapefruit with classic juniper for a sweet, earthy and softly warming gin experience. It is owned by West End Drinks.
