Kiva Confections has introduced a limited-edition cannabis-infused hot chocolate to dispensaries throughout California for the holiday season.
The new product joins the company’s line of cannabis-infused edibles, including gummies, mints and chocolates and follows the launch of its cannabis-infused turkey gravy earlier this year.
Blended with ‘rich, decadent’ cacao, Kiva’s single-serve Hot Chocolate is infused with 5mg of THC in each pouch.
According to Kiva, its Hot Chocolate uses fast-acting technology that allows for a faster THC absorption than traditional edibles, with an onset time of 15 minutes or less.
Simply add the powdered chocolate to hot milk or water and stir, ‘making this the adult version of everyone’s favourite childhood holiday treat’.
“We are excited to continue Kiva Confections’ mission in making cannabis accessible to a variety of consumers through new and innovative products,” said Kiva’s co-founder and CEO Scott Palmer.
Kiva Confections’ cannabis-infused hot chocolate will be available to purchase at an RRP of $5 at dispensaries across California, while supplies last.
