Krones has acquired a 51% stake in Hofheim, Germany-based Till GmbH. The technology company, located near Frankfurt and established in 2011, develops systems for direct digital decoration of containers.
The remaining 49% of the shares are held by the company’s founders, who will continue to play an active role in the company.
Till GmbH machines are modular in design and suited for high-speed applications in the beverage industry and other sectors.
Till machines enable bottling companies to directly print decoration on any container at industrial speed. The product range includes modular smartprint machines starting at 10 up to 600 containers per minute. Machines can be placed offline but also be integrated into existing filling lines.
