In preparation for the future, Kurita Europe has built a new technology centre in Viersen, Germany – a state-of-the-art facility with the latest test methods and equipment.
After 12 months of construction, the inauguration of the new Kurita Europe Technology Center (KETC) took place on 23 September, combining its research and development (R&D) expertise under one roof.
KETC will enable researchers to work closely together to develop new products, technologies and services efficiently and effectively.
In addition, KETC comes equipped with a training centre and visitor centre to introduce Kurita Europe´s R&D to customers and trading partners. Through active communication with employees and co-creation with customers and other external parties, the company’s goal is to create innovations that maximise customer value and create shared value with society.
It is the company’s vision to educate and impart its water knowledge to society and the industry.
Recycling water and the use of non-fossil regenerative sources for chemical production will have increasing importance as we look to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals laid out by the UN.
Kurita’s new technology centre will become an important hub for fulfilling its vision.
It will be a centre of knowledge, as well as a centre of communication and exchange with Kurita’s customers to identify their needs and develop new solutions that give value to the customer and help to protect the environment.
Customers can visit the brand new labs at KETC, listen to each of the presentations, and walk into and around the company’s new building through its immersive Virtual Tour.
