The new seasoning is made using a butter powder base mixed with sweet caramel and sea salt, and can be used in a variety of ingredient applications.
“We’ve seen tremendous growth in the popularity of sweet and salty flavours,” said Land O’ Lakes Ingredients marketing and sales leader Jim Jarman. “The sea salt and caramel flavour combination is at the forefront of this trend and we saw the opportunity to enhance the combination using our expertise in dairy flavours and rich butter heritage.”
