Christian Johansson.
Swedish agricultural cooperative Lantmännen has named Christian Johansson as its new CFO, effective 3 February 2020.
Johansson most recently served as CFO of Swedish manufacturing company SKF and prior to that CFO of Gunnebo. He has also held senior positions within Volvo and ABB.
“I would like to give Christian a warm welcome to Lantmännen and to the group management team,” said Per Olof Nyman, Lantmännen CEO and group president.
“With more than 30 years of experience from leading positions in global industrial enterprises, and with valuable international experience, I am convinced that Christian is well suited to lead the Lantmännen finance and treasury department and I believe he will contribute to the continued development of the group.”
Johansson replaces Michael Sigsfors who has been acting CFO since Ulf Zenk left Lantmännen in October.
“I am looking forward to start working for Lantmännen, a solid company with well-known brands, good values and unique opportunities,” Johansson said.
“I have had the privilege of working in several industrial enterprises that originates from Sweden that have expanded internationally and today operate in a global market. I think my experiences can contribute to a continued profitable and sustainable development of Lantmännen.”
Last year, Lantmännen acquired Tate & Lyle’s oat ingredient business based in Kimstad, Sweden. As part of the deal, Lantmännen bought an oat mill with a capacity of 55,000 tons and an oat ingredients manufacturing facility.
