Lee Kum Kee has expanded beyond Asian sauces with the launch of a new line of ready-to-eat rice and noodle bowls under its Panda brand in the US.
With its range of rice and noodle bowls, Lee Kum Kee aims to meet consumer demand for convenience while offering a unique fusion of flavours.
Featuring globally-inspired sauces, the street-style meals come in eight varieties:
Each bowl contains between 8-14g of protein and and can be ready in less than three minutes.
“Convenience remains the name of the game for today’s busy consumers,” said Simon Wu, Lee Kum Kee president of Americas.
He added: “We’re taking the guesswork out of mealtime by offering fans a reimagined twist on instant rice and noodles that celebrates traditional flavours in today’s modern kitchens.”
Lee Kum Kee’s new rice and noodle bowls are currently available in Northern California, Seattle and Colorado for an RRP of $4.49. The line will roll out nationwide in early 2021.
