Hennessy VSOP, one of LVMH’s flagship brands, has revealed a limited edition design enhancing the brand’s longtime advertising theme, ‘Hennessy and the experience of travelling’.
The project was developed by the specialised boutique branding and packaging design agency Appartement 103, strengthening its close relationship with the LVMH Group. After winning the creative pitch, the agency created a solution that would ‘perfectly embody and perpetuate the tradition of Hennessy VSOP’.
Partnering with Hennessy’s brand team, Appartement 103 handled all facets of expertise for this brand concept, ranging from storytelling, graphic design, primary and secondary packaging, print production (Beautyshot), product glorifier, display podium, to commercial media, including touchscreen applications.
“For this iconic limited edition, the Hennessy VSOP has been accented in bright red, giving an elegant visual impact and a modern feel,” said Appartement 103 creative director Julien Zylbermann. “In order to boost sophistication, the main label is adorned with specially designed passport-like stamps over-printed with raised varnish, resonating the cognac’s historic arrival in all five continents. The stunning case is elegant and aspirational, boosting a nuanced play of materials and textures, creating a rich tactile and visual experience for the consumers.”
