Award-winning coding and marking equipment from Linx Printing Technologies will be on show at Pack Expo International 2014 in Chicago from 2-5 November 2014.
Displayed on the booth of Linx’s US distributor partner Diagraph will be the Linx CJ400, Linx 5900 and Linx 7900 continuous ink jet printers and the Linx SL102 laser coder.
The Linx CJ400 was created following a major global consultation to research the needs of end users, and was the winner of the ‘Most Innovative Processing or Packaging Machine’ category at the UK’s PPMA (Processing & Packaging Machinery Association) Group Industry Awards 2012.
Offering unique portability, fast set-up and ease of use, the product features an Easi-Change Service Module that can be changed in minutes, meaning scheduled maintenance can be carried out without the need for a trained technician or service call – a major advantage for smaller customers or those in remote regions. Other innovations deliver a significant reduction on cleaning costs, ink and solvent consumption.
The Linx 5900 is a CIJ printer with a number of first-in-class features for fast and reliable three-line coding which also has the adaptability to be further upgraded as and when required. Designed to provide maximum flexibility and consistently reliable coding, it offers the lowest maintenance costs in its class along with extended service intervals of up to 6,000 hours.
The Linx 7900 offers a wealth of features at no extra cost, including Linx Insight software. This remote web interface allows users to monitor and control their Linx 7900 printers through a web browser, either via a PC or a web-enabled smartphone. New ink system technology enables the Linx 7900 printer to run for up to 9,000 hours or 18 months between services.
The Linx SL102 10 Watt laser coder is part of a range of versatile and intuitive coders which can be fine-tuned and customised to individual materials, line speeds and code requirements ensuring quality coding onto a wide range of customer applications.
