Frozen ready meal brand LowLow has launched a new marketing promotion to drive consumer demand during the so-called ‘diet season’.
The ‘Take Five and Make a Difference’ campaign will manifest itself in print and online activities throughout January, including make-up tips and how-to videos, and will be fronted by Bryony Blake from television programme This Morning. The company says it will focus on “how making small, positive lifestyle changes can boost that feel good factor”.
Manufactured by Kerry Foods, the range covers eight different meal choices – from chicken, tomato and basil pasta to chicken tikka masala and beef hotpot – and all register at less than 350 calories per 320g portion. Additionally, the brand’s steamed range contains one portion of the recommended five daily portions of fruit and vegetables.
Mark Boyle, Kerry Foods’ sales director, said: “We are delighted to be launching this new campaign to drive awareness of LowLow’s great tasting meals which, at less than 350 calories per portion, are targeted at consumers keen to eat healthily, but who do not have the time to cook from scratch. We have exciting plans for the brand in 2015 and are looking forward to introducing new SKUs to the range shortly.” The promotion falls in-line with the healthy image of the brand, which is sold in retailers such as Asda, Morrisons and Co-operative Food.
