S&D Beverage Innovations has introduced MilkSplash Natural Ingredients – its zero-calorie milk flavouring for children – in outlets of US retailer Target this week.
The flavouring is made using only natural flavours, sweeteners and colours, contains no preservatives, and is available in a range of flavours that include cocoa loco, Sir strawberry swirl and jammin’ banana. They have secured a new nationwide listing with nearly 1,000 outlets of Target – after previously entering grocery stores such as Walmart and Food Lion.
Its development continues a long line of children’s products that combine great taste for the consumer and, increasingly, a strong nutritional profile for the shopper – most often their parents. It also aims to increase children’s engagement with milk through a portable, fun and easy-to-use format.
S&D Beverage Innovations vice president of marketing John Buckner said: “The addition of MilkSplash NI flavours expands the options available for making milk fun for kids of all ages. Just like the MilkSplash original product line, MilkSplash NI has zero calories, mixes easily into milk, eliminates the mess and is simple for kids to mix on their own. MilkSplash does not require refrigeration, so parents can take it with them on the go.”
