Mars Wrigley Confectionery’s M&M’s brand has unveiled a new chocolate bar format and a new hazelnut flavour, which will both become permanent additions to the M&M’s product portfolio.
M&M’s Chocolate Bars are smooth milk chocolate bars filled with whole M&M’s Minis and available in a shareable bar, and will be released in the US in December 2018 in five flavours: Peanut, Milk Chocolate, Crispy, Almond and Crispy Mint.
Meanwhile, the new Hazelnut Spread Chocolate M&M’s flavour will feature the brand’s signature chocolate candies filled with a hazelnut spread centre, and will be released in the US in April 2019.
The new Hazelnut Spread M&M’s flavour will feature ‘eye-catching’ teal packaging
Hazelnut Spread Chocolate M&M’s will be available in three formats: A single 1.35 oz pouch, a 2.53 oz ‘share size’ pouch and a 8.3 oz ‘sharing size stand up pouch’.
Allison Miazga-Bedrick, senior brand director, M&M’S Brand said: “The industry is changing and consumer tastes are evolving. We’re continuing to recognize and anticipate demand.
“We’re excited to debut M&M’S Chocolate Bars and know that our M&M’S fans and chocolate bar lovers alike will appreciate the delicious taste that comes from our rich and creamy chocolate.
“We’re equally passionate for the launch of M&M’S Hazelnut Spread Chocolate Candies next year. We’re thrilled to deliver this new flavour with colour and fun, in a way that only M&M’S can.”
