Moy Park has invested £450,000 to open a new culinary innovation centre in Grantham, UK.
The Moy Pak Food Lounge ‘creative space’ includes a state-of-the-art kitchen, BBQ area, culinary library and a meeting room for Moy Park’s client base, which includes retail and food service clients.
Moy Park says that the new facility will boost innovation across its product portfolio, and help the company develop new products in the future.
In the wake of the opening, the company has also launched the second year of its Culinary Academy training programme, which aims to upskill its food innovation team and the wider business through a series of interactive workshops and learning sessions.
Moy Park’s head of culinary Aaron Dixon said: “Moy Park has a dynamic and creative product development team, and, as a leading food business, we want to ensure we’re fostering a culture of food innovation right across the business.
“We’re pleased to unveil our new Food Lounge which will be the culinary centre at Grantham.
“We look forward to rolling out our Culinary Academy sessions across the business which will help team members not only as they interact with customers, but as they shop and cook meals in their daily lives.”
