Snack brand Nākd has launched a new lemon drizzle bar, as part of its revolving selection of limited editions.
The new flavour replaces the previous carrot cake bar, as Nākd aims to continue generating interest by constantly changing its range of flavours.
The brand hopes that the new release will extend the growth that the previous limited edition secured. Nākd claimed that it was expanding at a faster pace than the rest of the category, with 18% value growth, while the previous limited-edition flavour contributed growth of 40% since July 2016.
Nākd’s lemon drizzle bar is made with dates, raisins, cashews, almonds, coconut and a tang of real lemons. With a cake-like texture, it is free from gluten, wheat and dairy – and provides one of the five recommended daily portions of fruit and vegetables.
It will initially be available in Asda and wholefood wholesalers such as Tree of Life, Suma and The Health Store.
The bars have a recommended retail price of £0.75, or £2.49 for a multipack of four.
