Nellie’s Free Range Eggs has announced the launch of three new products, marking the US egg supplier’s entry into new categories.
The brand’s Free Range Sous Vide Egg Bites are available in three flavours: Uncured Ham & Swiss, Broccoli & Cheddar, and Uncured Bacon & Pepper Jack. Nellie’s claims its new range offers the ‘first and only’ Certified Humane egg bites in the US. With an MSRP of $3.99 per 2-bite pack, the new sous vide bites can be enjoyed for an on-the-go breakfast, for lunch, or as a snack.
The New Hampshire-based company has also unveiled a new Free Range Butter, offered in Sea Salted and Unsalted variants. Nellie’s recommends using Unsalted to bring out the flavour in dishes such as scrambled eggs and doughnut muffins, while Sea Salted is said to be most suited to ready-to-serve dishes like toast and pancakes. Reportedly containing 84% butterfat and made with cream from grass-fed free-to-roam cows, Nellie’s Free Range Butter retails for an MSRP of $3.99 per ½ lb.
Nellie’s Free Range Traditional Eggnog will be available, for an MSRP of $4.49 per quart, from select retailers this autumn. The brand claims its new liquid offering is made from whole Certified Humane free range egg yolks and is free from antibiotics, as well as the growth hormone RBST.
“Whether it be eggs or any other product found in the grocery store, we remain committed to both the humane treatment of animals and supporting small family farms,” said Jesse Laflamme, CEO of Nellie’s Free Range Eggs.
“Not only will consumers love the taste of our new products, but they can also feel confident that our farmers maintain a stringent standard of practices to ensure the animals, and those who care for them, are treated humanely and with respect.”
