John Zupo, who had served as president of the company since April 2010, was appointed business executive manager and executive vice president/general manager, Tea, Nestlé Waters North America, effective 1 September 2013.
Until her promotion, Ms Moore had served Nestlé SA at its Vevey, Switzerland, headquarters as global head of customer facing supply chain/customer service, corporate supply chain. She brings more than 25 years of Nestlé-related experience to the role, having served in senior sales and customer service roles with Nestlé Canada Inc. She will now also sit on the executive management team of Nestlé Waters North America. In her new role, Ms. Moore will be responsible for the overall operations of Nestlé Waters Canada, including revenue, profit, market share, environmental stewardship, product quality and customer satisfaction. “I am very excited about the opportunity to lead Nestlé Waters Canada, as the Company is well positioned for continued strong growth in the Canadian market,” explained Ms. Moore. “The Canadian bottled water market has been growing steadily over the last three years – and Nestlé Waters Canada is competing aggressively for a share of that new business.
