Nestlé has expanded its Crunch chocolate portfolio by introducing three new dark chocolate products for the US market.
Firstly, the brand has created a dark chocolate version of its 1.5oz Crunch bar, which features a blend of crispy rice and dark chocolate.
The Buncha Crunch product line has also been expanded, with an 8oz resealable bag and a 3.2oz snack box containing bite-size dark chocolate Crunch snacks now available from US retailers.
All Nestlé Crunch Dark products are made with 100% real dark chocolate and feature no artificial flavours or colours.
Kira Gaines, Nestlé Crunch brand marketing associate said: “With dark chocolate seeing a 10% three-year compound annual growth rate from 2013 to 2015, we know that consumers want to see more options when choosing their favourite candy.
“We developed Nestlé Crunch Dark and Buncha Crunch Dark to fill that need and have seen outstanding reaction from fans and digital influencers who have been some of the first to try it.”
Nestlé has partnered with pop-up candy store Candytopia to promote the launch of the new products, and samples will be available from Candytopia installations from 27 April to 4 July 2018.
John Goodman, CEO of Candytopia added: “Bringing Nestlé Crunch Dark to Candytopia is a great way to bring a full sensory experience to our guests.
“Not only will they be seeing their favourite candies presented in ways they’ve never imagined but they’ll get the chance to taste a remix of one of the most classic bars out there, Nestle Crunch.”
