Nestlé Waters North America is forging ahead with plans to roll out its ReadyRefresh delivery service, announcing the latest in a series of distribution centres that will increase its reach.
The company has revealed details of a 25,000-square-foot facility in Atlanta, Georgia, which will accompany the rollout of the ReadyRefresh service across the Atlanta area.
The Atlanta branch will provide distribution for a variety of Nestlé-owned bottled water and beverage products. The company expects the facility to deliver 10-15 new jobs, including route delivery and brand leadership roles, with the goal of growing that number to 30-40 jobs in the next five years.
Nestlé Waters North America is also expanding its presence in Sacramento, California as part of efforts to make its bottled water and iced tea products available for delivery to consumers throughout the US.
And in June, it announced plans for a 10,000-square-foot ReadyRefresh branch in Denver, Colorado as the latest step in ReadyRefresh’s expansion.
ReadyRefresh is a delivery service where consumers, and small and large businesses, can order deliveries of brands such as Poland Spring, Nestle Pure Life, Perrier Water, San Pellegrino and Nestea iced tea. Customers can also choose from a range of beverage dispensers and accessories.
There is also the option to set up recurring deliveries for clients that require regular top-ups.
“This is a pivotal time for our business as we work to meet fast-growing demand for our bottled water and iced tea brands across the counter,” said ReadyRefresh by Nestlé executive vice-president Henrik Jelert.
“We’re particularly pleased to expand our operations into Atlanta, one of the fastest growing cities in the country and a market we’ve wanted to service for quite some time. We know that our customers here are looking for simple ways to maintain a healthy lifestyle, and convenient delivery of our many beverage choices helps them do just that.”
