Nestlé’s SweeTarts confectionery brand has expanded its product portfolio with the introduction of a new Gummies range for the US market.
Available nationwide from retailers in the country, the SweeTarts Gummies range will include two varieties: Sweet Gummies and Sour Gummies.
Created to appeal to young consumers who “follow their many passions and live creatively,” the candies in the range feature a large variety of shapes including a turntable, VR headset and a rocket ship, meaning that no two bags are the same.
Benjamin Jones, SweeTarts marketing associate said: “After recently surveying more than 1,000 college students, and learning that more than 76% prefer gummy candies over chewy, hard or liquorice candy formats, we knew our fans would be thrilled to try our new Gummies offerings.
“With no artificial colours, the new SweeTarts Gummies pack the same electrifying SweeTarts flavour that our fans have come to know and love, and with an endless variety of shapes and flavours, no bag is ever the same!”
Both varieties in the SweeTarts Gummies range will be available in 4oz (suggested retail price $1.69), 5.25oz ($1.99) and 10oz bags ($2.89).
