The user-friendliness of the website has been improved, with visitors able to sign up for an RSS news feed. In addition, the IDF Dairy Nutrition website is now also connected to Facebook, Twitter and other social networking sites.
The aim of the renewed dairy nutrition platform remains to provide science-based information on milk and milk products and their role in nutrition and health.
“This refreshed website utilises communication technologies to promote knowledge on dairy and its crucial role in nutrition,” said Sandra Tuijtelaars, IDF nutrition officer. “It facilitates the transfer of nutrition resources and offers visitors science-based information to support a healthy and well-balanced lifestyle. This platform will serve as an authoritative hub for health professionals, press, and the general public.”
