Noah’s Spring Water has added a 24oz Rexam Cap Can to its packaging portfolio, claiming to be the only bottled water brand available in the resealable aluminium packaging format.
Noah’s Spring Water features a natural pH of 8.4 and contains 110mg of magnesium per litre, nearly 20 times the amount in other bottled spring waters. The brand is available from select retailers in northern California, with plans for expansion across the rest of the US.
With a closure technology from Dayton Systems Group, the Cap Can provides an environmentally friendly option for bottled water manufacturers as it is 100% recyclable. It provides another option for environments where plastic containers have been banned, and features a unique resealable cap that makes it reusable, while the aluminium keeps the water cooler for longer.
Tony J Varni, president of parent company Varni Brothers Corporation, said: “There are so many reasons why this Rexam package just makes sense for our unique spring water. It provides a generous 24oz portion that is resealable so it can be taken on the go and reused. Refillable aluminum bottles can cost anywhere from $5 to $20, and they don’t come with anything inside of them. This Noah’s Spring Water retails for under $2, and it contains the best natural spring water available.”
Rexam BCNA president Claude Marbach said: “Our Cap Can is a truly innovative package that gives Noah’s a great opportunity to expand its reach and target additional consumers. It combines resealability with superior recyclability making it the ideal choice for those looking for an alternative to traditional bottled water. This is a great partnership and we look forward to helping Noah’s strengthen its brand and grow its business.”
