Nuco, a US producer of coconut-based products, has released a new Vegan Coconut Avocado Mayo as it aims to create a healthy and tasty alternative to mayonnaise.
The new product, a first of its kind, combines the nutritional benefits of coconut and avocado oils with the classic taste of mayonnaise.
As a result, Vegan Coconut Avocado Mayo offers a healthy alternative to a condiment that is commonly considered unhealthy and high in cholesterol.
According to research, coconut oil can provide saturated fat that kills bad bacteria in the gut while improving intestinal health and boosting ‘good’ HDL cholesterol. Avocado oil, meanwhile, has been said to support the immune system.
Made with all-natural ingredients, Nuco’s latest product is free-from eggs, soy, gluten, canola oil, GMO’s, and preservatives.
According to Nuco, its Vegan Coconut Avocado Mayo offers a smooth creamy texture and a tangy finish, and is perfect for a sandwich, veggie burger, home-made slaws, potato salads or spicing up a vegan recipe.
Nuco’s latest release will join other products in its portfolio made with coconuts including wraps, oils and cereal.
Nuco’s Vegan Coconut Avocado Mayo is available online and in independent and natural retailers across the US including Central Market, Lassen’s, Better Health, and United Markets.
