British nut milk yogurt brand Nush has entered the on-the-go snacking category with the launch of Nush in a Rush yogurt tubes.
Available in strawberry and blueberry variants and aimed at children, the products will launch in Ocado and Whole Foods Market with a recommended retail price of £2.99 per box of five individual tubes.
Nush said the introduction will see the brand diversify into new sectors and is “integral to its accelerated growth trajectory”.
Made from almond milk which is said to contain “up to 20% pure almonds”, Nush in a Rush is also targeted at time-poor adults.
In a statement, Nush said: “Children love Nush in a Rush for their delicious taste and parents will love them for their all-natural ingredients. The easy handheld format and the playful packaging, featuring fun fruit characters, allows kids to harness the nutritional benefits of almond milk yogurt in a mess-free way, without the need of cutlery or crockery.”
Each tube is vegan, and free from refined sugar, gluten, soya and preservatives. The light and creamy yogurt is produced by blending avola almonds from Sicily with filtered water and vegan probiotic cultures. Fresh British strawberries and blueberries are pureed and added to each serving.
A Nush spokesperson said: “We are delighted to launch the UK’s first dairy-free yogurt tubes created from the finest almond milk yogurt. Demand for innovative dairy-free and on-the-go offerings has never been so high and now consumers can harness the delicious taste of Nush in a spoon-free and convenient format.”
This new variety is the latest addition to the Nush range of products, which includes a line of almond milk yogurts and cashew milk yogurts.
