Cranberry juice brand Ocean Spray has revealed that it will be the official beverage and snack sponsor of colourful marathon The Color Run, which will be staged in a number of UK cities later this year.
The company will be actively driving consumer engagement through the official social media channels and sampling a range of its cranberry-based drinks and snacks. It will also have “a significant brand presence” at a number of key event areas, such as the event village, festival stage and start and finish lines.
The untimed and “effervescent” race saw 85,000 participants turn out last year, starting in a plain, white t-shirt only to be covered in splashes of coloured powder throughout the route. Ocean Spray will occupy one of this year’s colour zones with its signature cranberry hue.
